for your entertainment, this is just a random giant, and i ain't a hobbit Freshers Week isn't really magical, but it's a sinful week full of opportunities for unlimited alcohol and millions of names you can't remember. There're parties, clubbing, rave , for every single night. For whatever taste and style too, sports night at Yates, Halifax STYC night at Ziggies, Ice Breaker at Gallery, Beach party at Vanbrugh Volume, Freshers Ball at York Race Course, Slag and Drag at wherever! I must have exceed my alcohol limit in my total of 19-year-lifetime, combined during this craze. just to end this meaningful week, i got blessed with "freshers flu" too.<it is indeed a disease and not hangover, guys!> I met more or less about 50 friends during the fun times, still got lots of societies meetings now and there are about year one 140-ish students in my course, not many known but i know a bit Lectures are really interesting, but reading are just hard to catch up on, i know, i will work hard. Having my good cooking buddies too, dinner isn't so stressful as i thought, i got good flatmates too apart from the two rude chinese new comers, surprisingly irritating in the two short days they since arrived. One studies psych. too, well well. oh yeah, we have Hitch and Badeley as lecturers, if you know psych :D 20 hours of lecture a week, plus some more for tutorials and supervision and background reading. 3 hours of orchestra rehersal weekly, 3 hours of badminon either with badminton club or college team time isn't very much, but this is our time, my time so live it |
